DIY Parties
If a venue rental seems too big for your birthday party plans, we allow Do It Yourself Parties and special events at Morgan’s Wonderland.
Here’s a few things to know:
- Please check our hours of operation before planning.
- Outside food and drinks are allowed into Morgan’s Wonderland. However, all food will need to be pre-made, and we only allow non-alcoholic beverages that are not in glass containers.
- Outside food and drinks are not allowed in Morgan’s Inspiration Island.
- Our Picnic Place will be available for your use; please note that the Picnic Area is first come, first serve.
- Decorations are not allowed at Picnic Place, but you’re more than welcome to bring Mylar(foil) balloons to signify where the party is located. Morgan’s Wonderland is a latex-free park, so please no latex balloons.
- To be eligible for the group/birthday rate of $10 per person to attend Morgan’s Wonderland or $20 per person to attend both Morgan’s Wonderland and Morgan’s Inspiration Island, you will need to have 20 guests attending with at least 10 of those guests being paid guests.
- If you choose to pay for all your guests attending, we will fill out a card authorization form to hold till the end of your party to process payment for those guests.
- If you would like to purchase a gift for the birthday guest of honor, you can! Birthday favors are $12 each. Favors contain Morgan’s Wonderland party shirt, pen, pencil, and birthday cup.
Birthday Party FAQs
To save the date, Morgan’s Wonderland requires a $100 non-refundable down payment which will come out of the total cost of the package. When checking out, the remaining balance and the number of additional guests (if you choose to pay for your additional guests) will be taken at the end of your reservation.
If you choose to cancel your party/special event, Morgan’s Wonderland does not make refunds. All payments processed are final and will be considered a contribution to Morgan’s Wonderland. However, you’re welcome to apply the credit to another available date within the season.
You’re welcome to invite as many guests as you’d like. Depending on the package selected, you will receive 20 complimentary admission tickets to Morgan’s Wonderland or both parks. Additional guests will be our discounted rate of $14 each for Morgan’s Wonderland or $24 each to attend both Morgan’s Wonderland and Morgan’s Inspiration Island. Everyone attending the park will need to pay an admission fee to enter the park. Children 2 and under, along with individuals with special needs will be free.
Yes! If the time slot is available, each additional hour will be $75.
With Morgan’s Wonderland being an outdoor theme park, weather conditions can affect park operations. Morgan’s Wonderland will be open rain or shine, although this may affect certain rides and attractions depending on the weather. You can choose to cancel at any time, and we will work with you to reschedule to another available date within the season.
Food and drinks will be provided within your selected package. Outside food and beverages are not permitted for parties/special events. If there are dietary needs, please inform the customer care specialist upon booking. Please note that this will not change the party package pricing.
Yes! You can bring in a cake/cupcakes to celebrate the big day. We do not have storage available for these items, but we can hold them in an office until they are ready.
Yes! All pavilions and party rooms have outlets available for your use.
Each party will come with a shared party host, that will assist you upon arrival and provide you with carts if needed to transfer any decorations, cupcakes, or cake to your reserved pavilion. They will assist with your food and beverage order and various needs.
We do not permit piñatas, glitter, confetti, sparklers, live animals, tinsel, silly string, and stickers.
Yes! Additional birthday gifts are $25/each. Inform your customer care specialist during booking.
Morgan’s Wonderland does not make announcements for birthday parties. Announcements are only made for entertainment, operations, and emergency purposes.
Food orders will need to be turned in 2 weeks in advance to guarantee your full order. We understand numbers may change and can work with you on adding additional items as needed on the day of your reservation. Plates, napkins, and cups will be included with your finalized food order. These items will not be offered for cake/cupcakes. Feel free to bring in your own if it pertains to your décor.
Yes. Although decorations will not be permitted. Everyone in attendance will be our general admission price to enter the park(s). Discounted rates are offered to groups of 20 or more guests with at least 10 being paid individuals. Cake and or cupcakes can be brought in to celebrate the BIG day.
Please call us at 210-495-5888 to make us aware of your party, to provide a credit card, and for us to send you a blank guest list. Your guest list will need to be turned in the Friday before your visit date.
